The Funky Divas of Gospel's Jim White is singing a different tune on this CD, actually 14 different tunes, in a celebration and salute to the music his mother sang during her 40 year career as a vocalist. Songs include: Solitude, Stormy Monday, As Time Goes By, Sunday Kind Of Love, The Storm, At Last, Summer Wind, The First Time Ever I Saw Your Face, Help Me Make It Through The Night, All Of Me, Almost Blue, These Foolish Things, More (performed live by Beverly White) and a special bonus track by Jim and co-producer, Jim MacDougall. Chubby, originally from Suffolk, VA, currently lives in Haverhill, MA. He has sung with in the Virginia State Regional Choir, and the Zion Mass Choir in Lynn, MA. Chubby has been singing for thirty years with other bands such as Chocolate Rock and The Fundamentals. In addition to operating his own DJ service,, he was the lead singer with the New Hampshire seacoast area's hottest Motown band Hello Detroit and top 40's band Livewire, and now he is currently singing with The Funky Divas of Gospel which currently have three CD's released.
